St. Mary's teammates Payton Fox and Curtis Volf took the top two spots in their section of the men's 1,500 meters by clocking 4:00.59 and 4:01.07, respectively, at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Fox and Volf finished 30th and 31st overall from the four sections combined.
